A Personal Note From Purposeful Grace

Welcome to Learning to Walk With God: A 30-Day Scripture & Reflection Journey.

Purposeful Grace was created from my desire to grow closer to Jesus Christ and encourage others to do the same.

I am a believer who is continuing to learn, study, pray, and grow in my relationship with God. I don't claim to know everything about Scripture, and I am not presenting myself as a pastor or biblical scholar.

My hope is that we can open our Bibles and learn together.

Why I Created Purposeful Grace

In Matthew 28:18–20, Jesus commissions His disciples to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey His commands.

These words remind me of the importance of sharing the message of Jesus Christ and encouraging others to follow Him.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Paul encourages believers to encourage and build one another up.

Hebrews 10:24–25 also teaches the importance of encouraging one another toward love and good deeds, while continuing to gather together as believers.

These passages remind me that growing in faith is not simply an individual journey. Christians are called to encourage and strengthen one another.

My prayer is that Purposeful Grace will serve as a small encouragement in that journey.

Why Biblical Accuracy Matters

In 2 Timothy 2:15, Paul instructs Timothy to handle the word of truth correctly. Although this instruction was given to Timothy in the context of his ministry, it reminds me of the importance of approaching Scripture with care, humility, and a willingness to keep learning.

I recognize that my understanding is still growing. I may not explain every passage perfectly, and I want to remain open to correction when necessary.

That is why I encourage you to read each Scripture passage in your own Bible rather than relying only on the explanations in this devotional.

In Acts 17:11, we read about the Bereans examining the Scriptures to determine whether what they were hearing was true.

I hope you will approach this journey with that same desire to understand God's Word for yourself.

An Invitation to Learn Together

Throughout these thirty days, we will read Scripture, explore its meaning in context, reflect on what it teaches, consider how to respond, and spend time in prayer.

The explanations and reflections are intended to support your study, not replace Scripture or the guidance of a faithful Christian community.

If you encounter a passage you find difficult, I encourage you to continue studying, praying, and seeking sound biblical guidance.

I am learning alongside you.

My greatest hope is that through this journey, you will come to know Jesus Christ more deeply, develop a greater understanding of God's Word, and continue growing in faith long after these thirty days are complete.

God's Word is our foundation. Purposeful Grace is simply a companion to help us study it.

May everything shared here point you toward Jesus Christ.
